What should I charge as a Reiki Master?

Question by Reiki Healer: What should I charge as a Reiki Master?
How can one measure the total benefit of a Reiki session?
Of course there is always the immediate effect but sometimes there are huge effects afterwards.
That is of course nothing we know in regular medicine and so one is not used with price-calculation in that sense.
Well, there is one case known of a nun having had a heart transplant and becoming an alcoholic afterwards, and that can of course be seen as a spiritual transformation, which has not been paid for directly.
Please professionals give your advise.

Exercise uses up a lot of energy, which the cells derive from oxidizing glucose. Both glucose and oxygen have to be delivered by the blood. This means that the heart has to work harder to pump more blood through the body. This means it has to beat faster in order to achieve a higher throughput, as described by this equation:

I don’t understand your comment very well, but here is what I think about charging as an energetic healer.
Just look at each case individually. I don’t know how long you are healing, but you will meet people that need long time treatment, and cannot afford that. In that case of course I point them at their responsabilty in the healing process, but often reduce the price if necessary… and I always hope somebody in their family will do some treatments, because that does wonders often (as many health problems are relation-related)…

I hope this answer may serve you well.

Are you serious? You shouldn’t really charge anything! Most reiki “masters” are ignorant of science, and routinely promote implausible concepts with full credulous conviction. What you are practicing is scientifically unsupported and there is no rational reason why reiki should have any therapeutic effect at all. You are a snake-oil salesman, plain and simple.

Yeah are you serious? Charging as a Reiki Master? So who was your mentor? Is there scientific evidence for that? Peer approved? Double blind? As you know you should only charge if something works.

Of course I also took Sinutab once for nose congestion and it didn’t work, but that doesn’t matter. It’s scientifically proven, double blind, so it should have worked, that’s what matters.

So you should do it for free. You will rewarded by the cosmic presence.
